That whole night, all I could think of was Nurse Georgie. There was no way it was a coincidence Molly was my roommate and Georgie was my nurse. They were clues to the past. (or future, i'm still figuring that out) It wasn't until about 1 am (according to Molly's digital clock) that I fell asleep. Then the next day, I would have to plan.
Nurse Georgie had to die. It was the easiest way to get the information and affect the witch. I had to kill Georgie. Now, murdering masks was easy, considering I was crazy in love and crazy in general. But now I had no motive but information. It would be harder. Besides, I don't know yet what Georgie was capable of. All I knew was as soon as she stepped through that door, she would be finished.
I waited until 8 am. Molly and I simultaneously woke up, and that was probably the norm for her, because she didn't seem to find that weird at all. She also looked at me, "Its yard day!" She then screamed in joy and punched me. "Yard day, yard day..." She kept repeating over and over again. Yard Day must have been pretty important.
"What's yard day?" I asked.
"WHATS YARD DAY!?!" She freaked, as if I had just stabbed her or something. "Its only the day where Nurse Georgie brings us all on a field trip into San Francisco. Last time we went to the Golden Gate Bridge, remember." The fact was I didn't remember. "Nurse Georgie is bringing us to the aquarium today. I can't wait!"
The aquarium. Perfect. It was an old school term I hadn't heard since before my eight year coma. But when I did, I remembered all the people. The aquarium was always busy, and unless that had changed in eight years, the aquarium would still be packed. But, I also remembered water. Lots and lots of water. I could get Georgie by doing that. (Man, do I sound crazy.) Not only would I get my info out of Georgie, but I would be free from this damned hospital.
It wasn't until 11 am I heard "Come on maggots! You're fishy adventure awaits." Georgie screamed it down the halls, and she sounded pretty cheery considering. I walked to the bus and sat down next to Molly, who seemed really to want to explain to me how lion fish used to actually be lions. But I didn't listen, because I was coming up with a game plan.
When we got to the aquarium, I had an idea. The drowning plan went down the drain. Towards the entrance of the aquarium was about forty flights of stairs. Perfect.
