Chapter 16: The Retreat

I wake up. Not sure where I am. I don't see tent, I don't see trees, I don't see anything. Where was I? I looked around, and realized I was smothered. So I lifted, trying to lift whatever this massive weight was on top of me. I thought, and then it hit me. This was the beast. I panicked, was it sitting on me, waiting for when it was hungry? Was I its toilet? I lifted, struggling as much as I could to get it off me. I pushed and pulled, kicking myself out of this massive things butt. I then felt the thing itself move. Was it getting up? I screamed. Then I looked. There was Molly, staring down at me with the most pissed off face on the planet.
"What the heck did you think you were doing, taking on a reaper like that? You could have been killed!!! I was so worried." She said as she helped me up off the ground. I was still a little shaken, just waking up underneath some beasts butt and all. "I should kill you myself if your going to do stuff like that all the time. "
"I'm sorry..." I pleated. " I was just trying to show you I wasn't some pussy..."
"SO YOU TOOK ON ONE OF THE DEADLIEST CREATURES ON THE PLANET!!! YOUR RETARTED!!!" She freaked, and after I was fully off the ground she round-house kicked me, knocking me over again. Then she cried. I never though in a million years she would suddenly burst out crying like that. "I've never lost a mission, and you were nearly my first. Don't you ever run on me like that, you hear." She then grabbed me quickly off the ground and hugged me. She must have actually freaked at the tent.
"I'm so sorry. I promise, I will never again take off. And I am glad you were there to save my life. Also... now we have food." I looked at her, and she looked at me. Other than that small hand holding bit, I never thought about how much I actually mattered to her. Yeah, I was only her object of protection, but now, I felt a little more. I decided to make things better with a joke. "SO... wanna make out?" I said, to see a reaction...
"Hell no..." She quickly snapped out of the whole crying thing. " You kissed that things ass." Dang, she was right.

Chapter 15: Solo Hunting Trip

We got up pretty early this morning, and the first thing I remembered was being in a tent. I forgot where I was, who was with me, or any other recollection of what was going on. It wasn't until I sat up that it hit me like a ton of bricks. I was in "The Retreat" sleeping next to Molly Black. I mean, it was an awkward feeling, but considering how last night went, I don't think it was terrible. I mean, yeah, it seems she hates my guts, and she probably thinks I am the worst survivalist on Earth, but that’s the goal today, is to prove myself an honorable follower. This witch sure didn't pick a hell for me, I think I could manage on this Earth.
I got out of the tent, knowing I was the first one up. I decided to go hunting, hoping that this would prove me worthy of following. I grabbed a large stick, then a sharp rock, and I widdled the stick into a spear. I then took off, hoping that it was still just deer and wolves like back home.
I walked off the trail, towards a small cut down log I could see in the distance. The log was as long as a bus, and nearly twice as wide. It was spectacular. I approached it and waited. Listened for a scratch. Maybe even a jump or a walking sound. Instead I got white noise. So I stayed calm, and I sat behind the bus log.
I waited, watched, listened. And for a while nothing came. Just the eventual squirrel or rabbit, nothing hunt able. Then came the beast...
It was hunt able alright. This thing was 6 feet tall, and largely built. It had shaggy grey fur, and small dagger-like hands. Its face was all teeth, each stretching upwards and downwards in an opposite manner, each one a nice 9 inches. The other noticeable thing was its red eyes. They were deep an luring, as they intensely drew me into them. I wasn't sure whether to go after this giant or let it past and not get myself killed. I decided the latter. I'll let it pass and look for a more innocent victim.
I sat again, sure that I would have to kind of hurry, because of Molly spazzing out when I'm not there. I looked around. I heard something to my left and looked, nothing. Then I looked to my right, in the bushes, staring right at me were the bright red eyes.
The beast jumped, hurdling over rocks at me with incredible speed and finesse. I reacted how I could, and I aimed my spear right at it. It hit the spear and took the blow, making a large deep cut in-between what looked like its ribcage. It missed because of the blow but turned around and came for strike #2. I took my spear, this time aiming for the face, but I missed as the thing ran into me and launched me off the log, throwing me ten feet back. I lost the spear mid fall. I caught my feet, getting up to see the beast coming at me at its enormous speed, and I cowered, then, at the last second, tried dodging him, but to no avail. He tossed me again, this time, nudging me so I flew to the right. I hit a tree and fell. I hit the ground in a daze, this time unable to get up. I was sure to have some cuts and bruises at the end of this, if I survived. I rolled over, not as dazed, and looked around for something to defend myself. To my luck, there was my spear. I grabbed it and looked up to see the beast full sprint, attempting to surely knock me out this time. I took the spear and threw it, with all my might, launching it at the beast, and it hit him. Square in the chest. But it seemed to have no effect. He was still coming full speed.
I braced for impact, ready to see my final moments of The Retreat. I heard a bang, got hit, and I was out...

Chapter 14: Molly's Diary 2

Dear Diary,

It’s really late so I have to be quiet; Klarsey’s sleeping less than a foot away. And thank Gods for that. I thought he would never fall asleep. He was so nervous and hyperactive tonight; I thought neither of us would get any sleep. You see, once we found a suitable place to make camp (flat ground, safe tree cover, and all that jazz); it should’ve taken about half an hour to set up camp. Ya, right. It took closer to 2 hours. That boy is so clumsy I’m surprised he isn’t dead. First, Mr. I Can Do Everything decided to try and set up our tent. I guess I can blame myself for letting him, but come on! It’s just a simple 2X Fluster for crying out loud! You just put the poles together and feed them through the holes. That’s it. It sticks to the ground by itself. I don’t think he realized that, because he ended up sticking the poles into the ground and breaking the tips off. This means that once I took over the job and made him sit in a corner, our tent ended up oddly misshapen and almost dangerous looking. After our tent was set up, we had to collect some wood. Well, that never happened. Just as I was about to go out into the retreat, he wasted our nightly Firestarter ration. He was clearly playing around and didn’t know that shaking it set it off. Smart boy, right? Let’s go shake the fire maker! Seriously? Well anyway, I was so mad by then that I ended up running off into the retreat to calm down. I must not have gone as far and fast as I thought, because when I heard a noise and looked up, it was him. It was actually kind of cute. He said he came out because he didn’t want to see any sadness or anger on my pretty face, but you could tell he was just scared about being left alone. I felt bad for him, so I let him hold my hand as we walked back. He hadn’t exactly thought about how scary it would be even DEEPER into the forest. Anyway, moving ahead a little, after we ate a dinner of cold packaged noodles I brought, I told him it was bedtime. This seemed to freak him out a little. Gods, boys are so immature sometimes. I brought a lantern into the tent and then gave him my rules. 1. No touching me, 2. No snoring. 3. If you need to leave the tent, don’t wake me up or risk my vengeance. I am not a happy tired person. Well, that leads us to where we are now. He’s in his sleeping back, curled up like a baby. I can’t help thinking how adorable he looks right now. Like I just want to cuddle him and- NO! EWW! What is going on with me? He’s stupid and Plus, I have to start my plan ion full blast tomorrow.

Goodnight Lovely Diary,
XOX Molly

Chapter 13: Follow the Leader (City)

I follow behind little miss "Don't touch me." and to be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about her. She's bossy and insensitive, but beautiful and adventurous. It's so damn confusing to be honest. But obviously feelings aren't the goal here, the goal is freedom from the future.
I walk along side her, trying not to get nudged into her considering the fact she might rip my limbs off (like Johnny). We passed many different places, like I saw a video library, (something like that), and McDonalds still existed everywhere. It was pure and utter madness. The new world had stores I probably couldn't imagine. I saw one call Peales. What the hell is a peales? I also saw something called Domi. Now... I may have been through hell over and over again, but when it comes to being a pervert, I still rock. Domi (Doo-Mee), I mean come on.
We walked towards these two massive gates, no doubt the exit to Nexus. We came up to the front and saw two guards. One with a massive right arm and a wimpy left. (I'll call him righty). The other guy was average size, but must had grown up on roids because the rest of him was gigantic. The guy was 6' 1" and he was still the biggest guy I had ever seen.
Molly walked up to them and whispered something into Righty's ear. He then simply walked to a lever about 20 feet away from him, pulled it and let us through. It was just that simple.
We got outside... and when I say outside, I mean outside. I looked around, and everywhere was Amazon Rainforest out here. The trees were massive and dense, and the rest of... everything was amazing. The trees were so massive and thick that the only way to get through them was a simple dirt path narrowly parting them. I looked at Molly, and she was crazy. She had a look in her eye just past the "I'm Home" look. This was a look of obsession. She must have loved it out here.
Molly took off on a mad dash, quickly, and suddenly. So suddenly in fact, I barely had time to react. As she ran, I tried matching her pace, and nearly did, considering the fact that she slowed to a jog after we were a nice... 1000 feet into the woods. By this time, I was out of air, while she on the other hand was in perfect condition.
Molly looked at me... I looked at her... Then she finally said something. "It may look bright out, but its about to get dark pretty fast. How about was rest here until tomorrow. I have a firestarter, and a tent... So lets get unpacking..."
"Molly... You only have a tent... Not two?"
"Umm, yeah. I figured we could sleep in the same tent."
"OK..." I said nervously. Back home, I never could have slept with a girl, and now I just got invited in by hotty over here. Man I'm Lucky...

Author Bio #2: Randy Marchione

HI!!! I’m Molly, the other main writer for “I Am Alive”. What you are about to read is the Author Bio for Randy Marchione.

Randy is the creator of “I Am Alive”. He’s in charge of most of the storyline and the whole concept of the original plot. He writes all of the amazing journals for the guy character that I shall now name Klarsey Barton. (Sorry Hun, but he needed a name. :P) I think he’s an amazing writer and hard worker. We always talk about how fast he can write a chapter and do all the work it involves because it amazes me. He is really quite talented at book/blog making.

Besides writing glorious things, Randy does other fun stuffs. He throws great small parties, and rocks at airbrush tattooing. (I have the bird to prove it!) He’s also really sweet. He knows how to make you smile with one text because he is just that cool. Also, he’s really funny. Once, we were playing Apples to Apples and everything he said made us laugh-cry. Basically, Randy is amazing and should be cherished and loved like a small bird.

(Randy's Note back: Thx.It was amazing. But Excelius Fortune... Really)

Author Bio #1: Molly Block

Hi. This is your author Randy Marchione. I get the privelage to give you a bio on one of the other authors of "I am Alive." Her name is Molly Block, she is a good friend and second author of "I am Alive".
Molly Block has been a major inspiration to the "I am Alive" book. She came up with the female heroin and also writes for her and created all of her quirks later to be found, along with personality.
Molly also is an amazing song writer. She writes songs that are relateable along with personal and very deep. She is a little shy about singing, but when she does, the world knows its Molly and not whatever Molly may make herself out to be.
Molly is 14, her birthday is December 16th, and she is one of the most spectacular, quirky, and energetic people on the planet. A few examples are how she dislikes spoons because of one direction. (ALSO OBSESSED WITH ONE DIRECTION) She also loves anything English. The Beatles, London, Crumpits. That sort of stuff.
Overall Molly is great and she is an amazing addition the project "I am Alive".

Chapter 12: Till Death Do Us Part

I'm falling, falling at incredible speeds. I'm falling so fast that I call feel the effects of myself slowly falling asleep, this fall would knock me out before I died. This was intense. I said a little prayer to myself, knowing how quickly the end was coming. As I fell, I slowly calculated how far I was from the ground. 5,000 feet, 4,000... 2,000... 1,000... I closed my eyes and braced for impact...
But impact never came. I wasn't sure if I should open my eyes. I wasn't sure if I was dead, or just crazy. I decided to look. I was floating.
I looked around, and it was amazing. I was only about 1 foot off the ground. I looked around, too see if anyone else was seeing this. And, nobody was. I mean, I think they saw me, but nobody cared because this was just some freaking awesome technology from the 3000's. I then decided to wait. Maybe it would release me, maybe I had to get out of it, I wasn't entirely sure.
I sat there for a minute. And as I did, I slowly floated down towards the ground. I tried moving my feet towards the ground, and eventually was able to reposition myself. It was ok actually. It was an easy way to leave the house. I looked up, still kind of dizzy from the fall, not being used to it an all. All I saw was sky. But in the sky was a dot. Not a big dot, just a dot. It was coming right for me. I finally was able to get up and I got out of the force field. I ran, ran towards the building. Then I looked back up, it was Molly. Why was Molly back?
She hit the force field, and as she was slowly floating towards the Earth (I think) She talked. "I decided to help you. But on two conditions. One, hands off the merchandise." She than pointed towards herself. She pointed at her face, shirt, etc. "And two, I'm the leader. Whatever I say, you do. If one of your nasty freaking hairs on top of your head moves out of line, I'm ditching you in the Retreat. GOT IT?
(For those of you who still don't know what "The Retreat" is, its the forest.)
"Got it." I said a little shakily. I was kind of shaky from the fact she was plummeting towards me at like, a bazillion miles an hour.
"Good, lets go."

Charter 11: Molly Black's Diary

(Authors Note: This is beginning of part 2. It is written by Molly Block (creator of Molly Black) so enjoy)
Dear Diary,

Ok, wow. That was about the jackiest thing ever. Creepy weirdoes are almost worse than the giant Plotos Critis in the retreat. I cannot believe he would just show up at my door like that. Is that even legal?! I mean, I am the famous Molly Black, adventurer, fashionista, and secret songwriter (heehee). My house is password protected. The only way to get in is to illegally obtain my password. It’s not like he could have just guessed it- unless... Hes heard her; the stupid, bitchy, cackling voice from my dreams! It’s been trying to tell me what to do since I was 5. Like I would listen to her silly, cryptic advice. And no, I’m not crazy. I know that you can’t just talk to people in your dreams; they have to be figments of your imagination. But this defies logic. There’s no way she couldn’t be real; she’s just too freaking weird. Anyway, the only good thing she’s ever said is my password. And now this strange guy thinks he can just show up at my damn door and use a password he shouldn’t know? That is not ok with me. But... he must know the entity that possesses my dreams.... I KNOW! I can trick him into telling me about her. I’m great at tricking guys. I can pretend I wanna help him and take him out to the forest. He probably wants to know how he ended up here, and I’m wondering that also. Once we’re out there I can do some exploring and act like we are all “buddy, buddy”, even “lovey, lovey”. But it will all be a trick. He’s actually not that ugly, so it won’t be super hard to pretend I’m not repulsed by him. Anyway, I can tell him about the voice and my password, and he’ll probably eat it up. Then I’ll tell him I will leave him out there, with no way home, and no contact with the outside world, if he doesn’t tell me about her. He would totally do it because he’s not from around here. Yes! This is a perfect plan... Except now I have to find him. I can’t contact him because he’s not from the city. I could try the hospital, but they might not know. Wait. He isn’t that bright or clever. He’s probably sitting on his bum right under my window where the window slide left him. I’ll go look. Yup, he’s still there. I better go find him and “check on him” before he runs off and gets himself killed. That would just ruin my plan.

I’ll be back soon. Bye-bye for now,
Molly Black

Chapter 10: Meeting Molly Black

I'm at the window of my savior. The person who discovered my new existence in Nexus. The person who found me in the forest. I was near Molly Black.
I wasn't sure what to do, so I simply knocked on the window door. It was an intense moment, because I had no idea if she would remember me, or even accept me. I knocked anyway. "KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK".
I heard a voice. "Get off my porch Killworth, I'm not dealing with your bullshit right now."
"This isn't Killworth." I hadn't heard that name before, but It kind of rolled off the tongue. "I'm here for Molly Black."
"Who is this? I don't remember ever giving out my password." She said, almost frightened now, because I’m sure she had no idea who this was.
"It's..." I couldn't say my name, because it could give something away. "It's the guy you saved in the jungle the other day."
"GO AWAY!!! I told you journalists to stop trying to convince me to come out. And stop following me in the Retreat." I guess the Retreat was the forests name.
"No, Please, I need help." I claimed, hoping to convince her. I mean, I felt like a journalist doing this, but maybe this would actually work. And I think it did. I heard footsteps. "Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump." They had an echo, it sounded like she had to walk a long way.
"Please Go... Hey, you were serious." She kind of stood there. Looking at me. This was a good opportunity to see her in person. She was tall, tall and Caucasian. She had a glow of some new form of makeup on her face, as if she was on a date or something, and her features were smooth, rather than chiseled, yet had a very oval shape to them. There were two things that really stood out on her though. One was her eyes. They were very bright. They were energetic and beautiful at the same time. The other was her hair. It was unlike anything I had ever seen in my time. It was short, not buzz cut, but only about a foot. It must have been styled by god himself, because it was the most filed, and colorful hair I had ever seen. Not like red, blue, green, colorful, but an amazing hazelnut color, and it was amazingly beautiful. She kept staring at me, then finally she said something. Two things actually. "What do you want and How did you get my password?"
I couldn't explain it like I was thinking, where I would tell her I was given it by a witch. I had to be clever. "May I come in. I need to explain." She looked at me, as if I were simply some fan or some freak. But I knew her brain was working as her beautiful eyes stirred in her head.
"Why? Do you have an appointment or something?"
"No, Ms. Black, but I need to get home." I said, and maybe I could get some options.
"Where, Plexington or Lixaria?"
"Lixaria... But I need to come in and explain. I need a guild for free, and even though I owe you, I figured I could pay you back at home." I lied. I had no idea how I could simply convince her. I had to... How else could I have convinced her to let me in.
"Too far, you need to pay up front sorry." Then she said something that I thought would be the end of me. "Eject."
The pad under my feet then trembled, and the pretty girl in front of me became a blur. I then was thrust upward and fell off the platform, 1000's of feet above the ground. I freefell. And I was going to die. It was the end. Molly Black would be the last person I saw.

Chapter 9: Invading Leviathan

How was finding Molly possible, I mean, she could have been anywhere in that building. Plus, I don't understand addresses here, Maybe the floors are also listed by letters, or maybe the alphabet was all out of whack and I would never find her. I was in trouble.
I first decided to look at the door, just in case it was some alien technology or something. I looked, there was no door. What the heck is this? How do you walk into a building nowadays. I decided to watch, watch closely. The first person I saw walk towards the building was a man, 32 or so, and he went over to the window sill. Then once he reached that, he said a name, and a platform shot out of the window and slipped under his feet, and he launched up towards where ever he was going. Like a crazy elevator. It looked simple enough.
I walked towards the platform shooter thingy and ended up by the window. I then did what the other guy did. "Molly Black" I said, as clearly and punctuated as possible.
"PRIVATE AREA... PASSWORD NEEDED" appeared on a holographic screen in front of me. I'll admit, I was impressed. I mean, yeah, I was totally pissed off that I couldn't get to Molly, but wow, technology was bad ass now.
I thought. I was kind of a stalker on this computer, as I watched every episodes beginning, and found every detail about her. The only thing that I could think of was her motto on the show, "I may be crazy, but I kick ass." I mean, that’s a helluva password, but its possible. Now I had to figure out how to say this correctly.
I tried "I may be crazy, but I kick ass. Molly Black" first. But I got that stupid "PRIVATE AREA... PASSWORD NEEDED" sign again. So I tried again. "Molly Black, I may be crazy but I kick ass." The sign then changed into this. "INCORRECT... 3 ATTEMPTS LEFT." Shoot, I was narrowing my chances down. I needed to think. I then tried something stupid. I mean, you never know. "Molly Black, Molly Black" I repeated. It was a stupid idea, but who knows. Then the screen came up "WARNING... INCORRECT... 2 ATTEMPTS LEFT."
I needed to concentrate. This was gonna come down to my old time wits to Molly's future smarts. Basically, the odds aren't in my favor. I thought, and thought, and thought some more. Then I tried something. "Molly Black, Adventurer." That’s what she called herself on her show, so maybe I would get lucky. "WARNING... INCORRECT... 1 ATTEMPT LEFT...PASSWORD INCORRECT CAUSE EJECTION" What the hell was ejection. Does it mean I get rid of. Now that’s messed up. I need one more idea. I thought. The intensity in my brain was slowly killing me. I thought, and then it hit me. It was something of pure guess, and I think the witch was making sure meeting Molly was pure destiny. I looked at the screen... "Molly Black, La Mas Tar Id El". A platform shot out from under me. "Row E, Floor 346... HAVE A NICE DAY." I then shot upwards at enormous speeds.
Standing on that platform was impossible, so I layed down. Now, I had no idea how gravity and the force of wind weren't killing me or tossing me off this platform, but I was glad it wasn't. Also, I realized that the platform wasn't touching the building. It wasn't suspended either, this was pure levitation. It was amazing. The way it moved was so smooth, I could ride this all day.
I waited, laying down on this metal platform, when we stopped. We stopped right in front of a window, but a door. It was a door made entirely of glass, and sitting inside of it was Molly Black. It was my chance. We had to talk...

Chapter 8: Virus

I approached the mouse object, not sure whether I would know how to use it or have to figure it out on my own. I grabbed it, and immediately started to move it. It was actually simple, like 2000 technology simple. So I first looked up Molly. Who was she, and why was she in the middle of this forest? The only thing I could find was 3 different Molly's, one was a butcher (I think butcher had a gross definition, because that sounds worse than reporter.) The other two on the other hand were unemployed.
Adventurer must not be a job now a days. I looked up both their names. Molly Black and Molly Johnstone. I had to find out as much as I could. I looked up both names. Molly Johnstone had no records, but an address and something called a throan. I had no idea what the hell a throan was so I just simply looked where the address was. Lucky for me, it was only about two blocks away.
I then looked up Molly Black, and she had quite a bit. She had world records broken, and even a TV show. When she was on TV she seemed nice, so I didn't expect any trouble. She also had an address and a portal right to her street. I hope it was her I was looking for, because she seemed nicer than Molly Johnstone. I looked at the address. It was ZAZH Morthal Street. I guess there were letters instead of numbers. But then I noticed something. On the webpage (or whatever it was called) there was a button that said teleport. Was it that easy nowadays. I clicked it, and everything was a flash.
It was a blur, as if I actually didn't exist in one spot, but in another. It was as if, I traveled at the speed of light, because in one second, I was there. I looked around, and what I saw was extraordinary. I saw a building that, and I swear on it, 20,000 feet tall. That was my building, I had to get there.

Chapter 7: Uncovered

Its been 2 days, I'm too scared to go outside. I don't want to know this harsh reality, whether it good or bad. I just want home. I pondered what to do. I wasn't sure if I was hurt, so I just sat and waited for the OK. I felt fine, but you never know. Instead I watched this classics channel. I saw movies that I could have seen through my childhood, if that damned witch hadn't cursed me to this room.
It took me a moment. But then I finally I got to getting outside. And it was AMAZING!!! Nexus was one of the most brilliant cities I'd ever seen. It was absolutely gorgeous. I saw cars, flying cars, and everywhere was small. There were also different things. I saw that there were glass panels over the walkways, and they were covering the street. There was also a forest. Almost as if this whole city was built in the middle of the rainforest. It was freaky, and yet so surreal. I also saw some signs of poverty. Through the glass tunnels I could see gangs, people dying, and because of the maze of reflection and glass, I couldn't help. People were still homeless. There were no police either, as if the people were simply trusted.
I had to find Molly, whoever she was. She knew the forest, and she also knew the world, and apparently well. I had no idea how to find her though. I mean, I don't think there are any yellow pages in 3841, and according to the glass walls surrounding me, there weren't any busses. I had to figure out this new land. I was almost like a pioneer. (Other than the fact that there are probably 1000's of people here already) I was ready to figure out the land.
I decided to ask people, and not just any people, people who looked important. I mean, I didn't understand social statuses here but I figure the people surrounded by other people knew people. I first found a guy, he had some nice business attire on and I was suppressed how style hadn't changed much. I asked him, plain in simple, "Do you know any Molly's." It was plain and simple. And I got a plain and simple answer.
"Yes. About 5, now go." Was all he said.
"Please, I need to know." I answered his answer. No was just not going to be an answer. "I need it, I’m a reporter."
"GET AWAY!!!" He screamed, panicking and scrambling to get away from me as fast as they can. I guess reporter wasn't the best profession nowadays.
I I walked around. I had to get used to my surroundings. I looked, and found new things. I saw telephone booths, but they had computers in them. Like, Apple Ipad 98 computers. I had to check them out. I walked up to the booth. And when I got there, I realized it was more like and infinite database. I was amazed, like, Chuck Norris nuking China amazed. This was the new internet. I also saw I had a 10 minute time limit. This was going to be interesting. I knew to look up Molly, and get names, and jobs. And I also knew to look up what a reporter was. It was a pretty hard job in ten minutes, being new to all what lay before me. But I could make it happen. I mean, I've been in hell.

Chapter 6: Welcome to Nexus

Waking up was hard. I could barely move, my eyes wouldn't open, and I didn't want them to. I was scared. I didn't know whether I was in hell, or on some desolate planet. It was a bad situation. I sat, knowing that I was alive, and using my other senses to determine whether I was safe, or dog food. I heard saws, the loud screeching, and lasers, like the classic ones you see on those cheesy syfy dramas. I smelled... cheese. Like that shitty bleu cheese you find behind a grocery store counter. I felt the temperature, and it was cold. Not as cold as Minnesota's winter, or the top of mount Everest. It was temperate, like 60 degrees or 50 degrees. (F) I loved it actually.
As I analyzed my surroundings, I knew the moment was at hand. I had to open my eyes. So I did. I looked around. And what I saw was amazing. I looked and saw blades, tables, and even a TV that was on the "Classics" channel. (Classics?) "Saw 3"was playing. I looked to my left, then to my right. Overall, I think it all looked like... A hospital. I call for a nurse. "NURSE!!! NURSE!!!" hoping I would get some response. They came running.
"His vitals are normal. Son, are you ok?" The lady was pretty weird. She looked 20-30 but had an aged look too.
"Where am I?" I asked, knowing how mental I probably would sound, wondering what planet I was on.
"You're in the Nexus Strait Hospital" she said. It reminded me of an old episode of "ER" or "Grey's Anatomy". The nurse spoke up again. "You must have been in quite the fight. If Molly hadn’t found you near Halsburrow you would have been Slicer bait."
That got in my head. "Who was Molly?", "What the hell was a slicer?", "Where's Fandora?" Where was I???
I had to first figure out something. I wanted to know the date. Maybe this was Earth and I was in the future. It would explain "Saw 3" being on the classics channel. "What day is it?" I asked, so I didn't make myself seem helpless. So I played the part.
"I figured you would eventually ask that." said the nurse. "Its January 9th, 2132."

Chapter 5: Shards of Glass

I hit my spot. As if a missile, aiming right at it. As I hit it, I waited for something to happen. Nothing, in fact, I was still falling. I looked at the portal above me, it was shattered. Pieces of my dimension were falling everywhere around me in an awkward pattern, twisting as if actually a mirror.
I screamed, "I made it fair and square, why am I not back?" As I fell, rapidly, going faster and faster with every second that ticked by. "Your playing me aren't you, i'm going to die falling and wake up in some other helluva nightmare."
The booming voice reappeared. "Haha, you hit it to hard." it said with a kid like tone. It pissed me the hell off. "Besides, you think I'm letting you pick. Tough Luck, its just going to have to be chance dealing you your deck."
"TOO HARD!!! HOW DO YOU SLOW DOWN A FREE FALL!!!" I screamed bloody murder. That was my only chance at living back home. I thought. I looked, and dodged windows, waiting for my one slip up that would send me into some underworld where they eat newborn children that were too weak.
I fell, and fell. As I fell I could tell more portals would crowd around me as it became crowded and very hard to dodge. I couldn't hold myself to believe that this would end up well. I was going to hell. I fell, and fell. Then finally came the chance...
I closed my eyes, and screamed.

Chapter 4: Mirrors of Life

I wake up, still in the rusty bathroom from before. Had this not been a dream, was this some kind of black voodoo the witch had cast upon me. I got up, woozy from the giant cut on the top of my head. It hurt like a razor, slowly edging my head into a state of overall hurt.
I looked around, was this all a dream and the witch was just messing with me. I went into the next room. The room was painted all black, the other door nowhere to be seen. No windows, and the only furniture was a mahogany dresser in front of me. It was some "The Lion, the WITCH, and The Wardrobe" shit. I had no idea what to think. I started walking forward, no clue what was to become of me. I walked to the wall, touching it. The was bended. It bended inwards, then outwards, as a giant pot of jelly would. I punched it, trying to reassure myself I had just bent a wall. Sure enough, it bent, this time even shattered like a plastic form of glass.
I peered through my giant hole, trying to see what I had done. All the way through the wall I could see images, but they were moving like a movie. I looked down, one was of a man being ripped in half, the other was of some different horses. These horses were running off a cliff, knocking something that looked like rocks off with them, as they plunged into the sharp rocks on the foot of the cliff.
I then heard the witches voice, as it boomed in the room like an announcement at school. "CHOOSE YOUR FATE!" Another one of the old school witch things I guess. I looked down, through the different pictures. I looked for home. Not home as in my house, but somewhere other than that cursed table on Earth I could go. I looked, the pictures moving in a circle as if an optical illusion. I saw places like ancient Egypt, with people getting whipped into a pulp, and what looked like the future, with houses on mars. I looked for what seemed like hours, knowing whatever I picked was my fate. I saw places that didn't exist, one said idea, one looked like the world "Avatar" took place on, and one almost even looked like a "Star Wars" movie.
I finally saw it, Obama's inauguration. It was a long shot, as I saw it was covered by pictures of hell, the future, and worlds I couldn't possibly imagine. I knew I had to try for it, its a hard shot but I could do it. I dove out my hole, and fell. It wasn't a walk, it was a full on, plummet straight down. I drifted left, then right, learning my way around the obstacles they call Earth. I saw my window, just left of me, any slip up and I'd be done. I flew right, then immediately turned left, the right move was to gain momentum. I flew left, almost too fast to control. I flew, and flew, and as I approached the window, I was coming in hot. I then took my shot, I flew towards it. I went to hit it, I aimed correctly, and hit it...

Chapter 3: Kidney Stones

I wake up, cold, and unmoving. I am completely immobile and my feet cold. I look around and see water, and I realize I'm in a bathroom. I look around, try to comprehend my surroundings. All their is is old cheap motel bathroom, water and ice (I don't know why ice is in the tub), and a sink full of rust and aging grime. I sit in wonder, what has happened to me in that sudden flash from the metal table to now. Was I asleep again or was I still in the cave the witch calls home.
I feel my body, any clues or any differences on it would make me panic in an instant. My arms barely move because of the cold water surrounding me. I first feel my chest, slowly, checking all the small chisels and details, knowing that I could miss the inch that was important. Nothing. So I move down towards my hips. I feel my sides, and my front. Then I feel the back. There's stitch work. Why is there stitch work. I feel it and look down, there's thread swimming in the water below me. I also don't feel right. I look through my memory to any little detail I could think of. The only one was a terrible story my grandpa used to tell me.
The story was of a lady who went on vacation on an island near Fiji. The island was full of nice people and great stories. The story ended up where she found the man of her dreams. He was on an island. On the island, the man brought her back to his house. She expected sex. She ended up getting drugs. He drugged her, and the next day she ended up in a tub full of ice water. As she went to the doctor, she soon discovered both her kidneys had been taken expertly from the back. Damn witch has turned to urban legands... My life is terrible
I finally get the feeling in my back, I'm not sure if its the dream or a sudden rush that hits me. I get out of the tub, hoping that this feeling is the begenning of the end, the end of the terrible, kidney-less dream. As  I walk, recovering slowly, I suddenly fall. The fall brings my forehead down on the sink. I black out...
No clues for a kidney-less man.

Chater 2: Last Nightmare

The day of my last nightmare. I sit, waiting for the next dream to flash around me as it always does. Nothing... I sit, and wait, and sit, and sit, and sit. Nothing. The white sound I remember hearing from the old tele as it would shut off was the only sound. Not intense, just light white noise. What happened to the nightmares?
Thats when it hits. A giant white flash, all bright, almost heavenly. BANG!!! What was happening? As I sit there dazed and confused, I wake up. This time its different though. Instead of the usuall regret of living in a horror movie, I woke up refreshed. It was a new sensation on my body, I had never felt anything like it in 6 years. 6 long and annoying years.
It was over. I think at least. I try moving, to see that im strapped to a metal table. Were the nightmares over. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a door. The door looked old and creeky, barily on its hinjes. I looked through the other corner, I saw a wall, and on the wall were different markings. I knew how cheesy this was. Strange markings, old door, metal table. It was almost out of an old scary movie.
I sat there for a couple moments, waiting for something, and eventually something did happen. The witch walked in. The last time I had seen her, she had been trasnformed, old, and monstorous. The two things I truely remember are the eyes and claws. Her eyes were bloodshot, to the point where her pupals didn't show through all of the crimson overlapping it. Her claws were daggers. Each hand weilding 4 of them, both her pinkies cut off. Each claw had a symbol carved into it. One had a star, the classic. One had a cross, with a circle at the top. One had an x, but the x was painted black. It was satanic all right, and it was terrible.
The witch was in the room, peering over my body as  I sat here on the table. She was just how I remebered her. She looked over me, then she talked in that raspy voice of hers. "You're lucky I kept you alive. I fed you and changed you everyday for 6 years." She was in one of the fimiliar tones I had heard when I was stuck in some of my hellish nightmares. She was about to make a deal with me. She sat there for a moment. Then said, "I'm told your ready to make a deal. I have been torturing you for 6 years to strengthen you for my line of work. I've trained you with all your dreams, all your sucesses, all your defeats. Now, I ask you a question, the question that will seal your fate. Will you become my apprentise. One of the devils sons, that will hold me and help me through any wicked deed I will perform to any holy slave of god. To help me bring death and sickness on any follower of the one they call god. The devils greatest enemy."
I sit on this table, trying to think. She wakes me up and immediatly decides whether I live or die. One is for the correct cause, the savior. One is for destroyer of worlds, conquer of all evil. The devil would seal a fate, but so would a death with god. I say, "I choose this hellish eternity as long as I live." A heroic statement, but a statement that will haunt me tell I get to heaven.
The witch cakkles, as all witches do. She takes one of her disgusting fingers, and scratches my face. A long cut, down my face all the way from my eye to the near corner of my lip. Its sharp pain screeching through my face. Then, the bitch (witch, my bad) says "You have sealed your fate." Then she says something I have only heard once before. The first time my life had ended. She said, "Wind of hell. Souls of Fate. Drag this weakling past hells gate." Then I blacked out.

Chapter 1: Life as we know it

I awaken to the sounds of screaming. I look to my right to see fear itself, emitting from my little sister, Mariah. What has happened? I look towards the door. It rattles, so roughly that it nearly falls of its hinges. As I watch in horror, I happen to suddenly realize the sharp pain in my side. I ignore it to see what awaits my front. The door opens, as hard as a door can possibly open... Then... The dream ends.
I actually awaken. Its pitch black, nothing to visualize, and nothing to hear. My sister, Mariah is fast asleep in her bed. But I still feel the pain. I look to my side and see the sharp pain. Its a bite mark. I couldn't believe it. Something had bitten my while I was in my ghoulish night-terror. I freak, silently, but vigerously, shaking in almost a seizure like fashion. Then, after about a minute, I wake up.
This is every wakin moment. You see, when I was a kid, I was tricked by a witch. The witch made it that in the end, I would have to relive a twisted moment she devilishly wrote up for me. I would live through all of these hellish times over and over again until I was 18, then in adulthood, I would choose either to work alongside the witch or relive these terrible horrors over and over until I died. Great reality.
But I have an idea. Through each one of the witches trials, there has been a clue, a clue to break the spells. This started when I was 12, thats when I was tricked. I didn't realize the clues until about 6 days ago. (Or 6 dream days ago) The clue I found was what one of the kids was talking about in the corner of the Insane Asylum I was forced into. His name was Johnny. Johnny would sit in a corner, cutting his arms, repeating the same phrase over and over again. "La Mas Tar Id El". She had put me in this nightmare once before, as I had to sit here, watching Johnny as he would eventually cut his own arm off. I sat. And listened as Johnny slowly killed himself. And that when I this me.  La Mas Tar Id El was an annagram. Before the witch had captured me, I solved these all the time. Over the next few hours, I added it all up. I got the definition. I'm not sure what it is, but I think its a sign. The best I got was "Its All A Dream".
Since then Ive been listening. Watching for the littlest clue, and I havn't found any. Today for me is September 23rd, one day before my birthday. The day before I reject a witch. I don't know how this will all end, but I don't believe hell is forever. Not if you have options.
